a Rate that No One Knows

Second best, third best but I know you aim higher, right? But what if even you strived harder, you’re still the second best; will you lose hope? Will you give up? Or will you pack your bags and give everything you’ve got to be the best one?

I know it’s hard to aim higher and strive harder if you fail every time you try or got it perfectly but still the second best. In this kind of situation, think about Hikari in Special A and how she strives harder even if she fails. She’s always the second best even though she tried so much and does everything she can do but she never lose hope nor give up. She did everything except from cheating and quitting. I don’t her reasons from doing so (may be because of her dream, past or because of Kay) but all I know is that she has faith, belief and aspirations.

Now think about yourself and ask yourself: will I do the same? Will I do everything for my dreams? Will I continue striving harder? Will I continue even everybody turn me down? For me, I will continue because it is my dream not my family’s dream, friend’s dream, or other people’s dream; it is MY dream. And for my dream will do everything about it.

I know I’m not good in Mathematics, Science and Grammar, but I’m good in Filipino, Scriptwriting and MAPeH and even in Recess (break not for food but for good reasons).

A decision that could change the world

“First you must decide, and then follow through. I believe that’s the only way you can get anything accomplished” –Laeus of Gundam Seed

This line could be the quote of your life; Laeus is right, a person must decide first on what they want (whether it is about love, commitment, family, dreams, job or anything that can change your life. Deciding is the only way you could commit, because if you have decided to do something you’ll be determined to hold unto it and you’ll be inspired. So DECIDE. Of course, after deciding; detail by detail do the things that will help you to achieve what you have decided. Start from small tasks and when you are ready take the big ones. For an example you decided to be a writer; write every (may it be a quick composition or compositions that needs more time and effort), write anything you want without boundaries; then after that, try to join essay writing contests, publications or any contests that can hone you r talent and capabilities and dreams. Take risks and don’t lose hope. If you fail, try again and strive harder, because God gives opportunities generously to those who have patience, faith, belief and offers their time, treasure and talent. If you lose interest; ask yourself: are you ready to give up or not? If not yet, strive harder and aim higher; but if yes, then look for your real dream.

Of course before doing the things above, the important thing to do is to believe in yourself and on what you can do. If you don’t or can’t believe in yourself then:

“Don’t believe in yourself, believe in me who believes in you”-Kamina (Tengen Toppa Gukken Lagann)

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED?

Titles and branding are important especially if you wanted to make your product and ideas to reach stardom. Right? However, every title that each movie has means something (something that only few knew.)

Did you know the story or meaning behind the title of Yamato Nadeshiko? If not, scroll down. If
Yamato Nadeshiko
yes, then close the page and find some other interesting topic or probably you may also read this one.

Did you know that the meaning of Yamato Nadeshiko is somewhat far from what the story tells us? However, there are also certain meanings that connect to the context of the story.

So if you want to know more about it you may Read it and seek.

According to Kenkyusha’s Japanese-English Dictionary (5th edition, 2003), Yamato Nadeshiko means an “Ideal woman” and from Daijirin Dictionary (3rd Ed.) it was defined as a figure of speech for the beauty of Japanese women who are neat and tidy”.

It was also known as an ideal Japanese Woman per Confucianism wherein they must act for the benefit of her family and following instructions or acting in the best interest of patriarchal authority figures.

They must be a devoted wife to their husband. She must never oppose to him even though she knew that he was wrong. They must be gentle and delicate but also be able to endure all the pain and poverty if life.
However, Yamato Nadeshiko also means the name of a flower known “Fringed Pink” or Dianthus Superbus; it is a small, common but easily distinguishable flower which grows wild.

Now, can you recognize or identify why Yama to Nadeshiko was the title of the love story of Sunako or Kyouhei or you are also puzzled up like me?

Think about it.

Nadeshiko or Frilled Pink Carnation/ "Fringed Pink"

Impossibly Alone
Have you ever loved someone before? A love that even time can’t erase; a love that made your life worth living? If yes, did it end up happy? Or it just shuttered your dreams, love and life?

If it was the latter, well, did you live like Sunako did? Or you just turn away and said “it doesn’t matter whether he loves me or not. I’ll just love him the way I wanted”.

Sunako or we may call her the " Pretty Weird"
Have you ever come across the shuttered love story of Sunako entitled Yamato Nadeshiko? (However, even though her heart was shuttered, one person crossed her life and changed everything.). The story of Sunako Was like this: it was the first time when she had fallen in love with someone whom she showered all the things that she really loved; however this guy did loved him in return, instead he left her with pain, sorrow and shuttered heart. And since then, she changed from a blooming flower to a weird wild one.

Because of the pain she had suffered she changed entirely, that whenever she saw a handsome guy she bleeds (in the nose) and saw bright lights. And this caused her auntie to find a way to return her back.

And as an answer, she allowed four guys to stay on her mansion (free of charge) and as a payment they must bring back what Sunako was before. Even it went along way, little by little Sunako was starting to change and it was because of the four guys specially Kyouhei (her Leading man in the story). And as the story goes Sunako and Kyouhei find each other as important part of their life.

Love. Love. Love. It’s really true that whenever someone left you there’s another person that will come and hold you just the way you wanted. It’s not about how it was painful; instead it’s about what you have learned to that pain and how you used it to make your life better.

I know and we know that its really painful and may leave a scar but remember to learn you must feel the pain. And never worry because God has always a plan for us. In God’s time you’ll find the right one.
It must be love

Entering Another Dimension
Another stuff of creative dimension had emerged to satisfy not only the needs of our eyes, ears and minds but also feed our hearts with emotions and color.

Anime!!!, a kind of artwork that almost all human being adores and has a connection into (may it be an infant, a toddler, grade school, high school, an adolescent, an adult or even those who were already loosing their teeth).

I don’t know why this kind of artwork creates an enormous impact to the society; however what I know is that it was loved and praised by everyone. (Want a proof? Check out how ordinary individual dress like them, act like them, and buy things that contain their images). However, still I’m looking for reasons why it became popular, is it because of its music, effects, design, love of art, vanity, entertainment, content, the story? Or it just that, it matters because it does matters.

As one of their lovers, my answer, it is because of the story, content and how they creatively draw wonderful characters. I love its stories because for me a movie, series, animes and cartoons matters when the story is good and creates a magical connection between you and them.
Another is that a story was sometimes or most of the time beyond what an ordinary mind and brain cells can dream, think, and create.

“It made me see and read between the stroke and lines that lies in the picture.”
Content is very important in a story because without it, the story will never matter.
Another that thing that attracts me is its graphics or their drawings (how they creatively draw the characters that really makes an expression.) it is the thing that meets the eyes, it is the one that must make me fall in love at first sight because without this I would never pick it up, try to watch and learn the story. It is like a sex appeal in human made pages.

Every kind of artwork must be appreciated (may it be a painting, picture, portrait, drawing ...etc.) because it doesn’t only portray a one shot design but also it portrays many things that only the eye can see and understand (a meaning that lies between the lines, figures and how those dots are connected).

Anime is not just ordinary because it portrays what a mind can dream of and how it works to create an enormous life that is beyond one’s imagination.

A one shot insight: ANIME

Teenanime: A reality that is far from reality wherein it portrays something we do not normally see in real    life, but still related to it.
It contains “lessons” that can put into real life wherein they use human characters to perform the     lesson. It is a story book with images and It also aids to feed our imagination. (Much like fantasy,  it shows something that we would never have imagined.

Rane Barun: Gusto ko ang anime dahil maganda ang graphics at advance technology. I like it because of    its futuristic approach, lessons, and suspense. I can relate to it because of its stories and maybe some of it may happen to real life. However it is categorized so you can’t like all of them.

Cutegirlxox: an anime is far from reality, interesting and the characters are almost perfect na sa totoong      buhay ay hindi mo makikita.

Ela: I like animebecause it unfolds wonders and probabilities. Some of the anime that I cling to like were    Code of Grease, the Dragon Princess that dwells in the World of Quantum Theories. It open up          ideas that can deny the possibilities to brought it into reality. And most of the anime has its life,        love, virtue and lessons that suits either to youth’s vast imagination or an adult. =)

A.G.: for me an anime is not just a type of cartoons but also another way of expressing the reality of life.

Nathalie: For me an anime is a stroke of the future, color of life, faces of the unknown and the story lies    between the images and dialogues.
